Job summary

Kamiwaza, based in Colorado with a remote-friendly stance, seeks a Senior Software Engineer (MTS) to architect core GenAI deployment platforms for enterprise customers. You will design and build scalable systems across model serving, data pipelines, APIs, and orchestration to deliver secure, reliable infrastructure.

You will work on embeddings, retrieval systems, and evaluation workflows, while keeping a strong focus on developer experience and platform resilience in a high-autonomy environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Strong proficiency in Python for production-grade services
• Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and GenAI advancements
• Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure and security fundamentals
• Ability to decompose complex challenges into scalable solutions
• Excellent collaboration, ownership, and accountability

Responsibilities

• Architect and develop high-performance GenAI model serving systems
• Build and scale infrastructure for embeddings, retrieval, data catalogs, and workflows
• Design secure, scalable APIs focused on developer experience
• Enhance deployment pipelines, observability, and operational best practices
• Collaborate to evaluate GenAI research and bring innovations to production
• Contribute to platform decisions around cluster management and reliability
