Job summary

Bank of America is seeking an experienced Enterprise/Platform Architect to lead GenAI-enabled features and end-to-end solutions. You will define reference architectures, oversee tool selection, and guide teams to ensure scalable, highly available systems aligned with enterprise standards.

The role requires deep design experience for large-scale platforms, strong governance, and collaboration across security, platform engineering, and use-case owners.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in enterprise architecture, platform architecture, or distributed systems design.
• Experience designing platforms operating at scale, not single-use apps.
• Strong experience with GenAI/agentic architecture: model gateways, RAG, vector retrieval, orchestration, tool calling, guardrails.

Responsibilities

• Ensure design/engineering approach for complex features aligns with portfolio solution.
• Define tech stack for the solution and evaluate new testing tools/frameworks.
• Enable CI/CD capabilities and collaborate with stakeholders for efficient pipelines.
• Guide teams on design and best practices for high code performance and review processes.
• Deliver end-to-end complex features for one or multiple teams at program level.
• Research and prototype new tools for release management, CI/CD, and features.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define high-level solution needs and requirements.
• Define GenAI reference architecture across model access, orchestration, and runtime controls.
• Produce standards for identity, data boundaries, guardrails, observability, and resiliency.
