Job summary

Databricks is seeking a highly skilled AI Forward Deployed Engineer to develop and productionize GenAI applications for customers. This role emphasizes hands-on GenAI work, RAG, multi-agent systems, and Text2SQL using tools like HuggingFace, LangChain, and DSPy.

The position supports remote work and involves travel to see clients (approximately every 4–8 weeks). A graduate degree in a quantitative field or equivalent practical experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience building GenAI applications, incl. RAG, multi-agent systems, Text2SQL, fine-tuning.
• Production-grade GenAI deployments on AWS/Azure/GCP.
• Hands-on data science with pandas, scikit-learn, PyTorch.
• Experience communicating complex tech to non-technical audiences.
• Willing to travel ~ every 4–8 weeks.
• Familiarity with Databricks Intelligence Platform preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop cutting-edge GenAI solutions using latest Databricks research.
• Own production rollouts of GenAI applications.
• Advise customers across domains as trusted technical expert.
• Present at conferences and contribute to product roadmap discussions.
