Job summary

The Chemours Company seeks a Senior AI Applications Engineer to join our AI & Data Science team, reporting to the Head of Data Science & AI. Based at Plaza Carso Offices in Mexico City; remote work may be considered for the right candidate.

You will design, build and productionize GenAI solutions, lead end-to-end delivery, mentor developers, and collaborate across functions to create scalable, secure AI systems.

Qualifications

• 8+ years backend development with Python and JavaScript.
• 2+ years designing, coding in Python, and deploying GenAI solutions in production.
• Minimum 2 years UI & frontend development with React.js, Typescript, and HTML.
• Strong GenAI architectures experience including embeddings and RAG.
• Excellent English communication with non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Identify and integrate Generative AI solutions into business workflows.
• Design, architect, and productionize traditional apps and GenAI agents.
• Lead end-to-end delivery and partner with stakeholders to define use cases.
• Mentor junior developers and foster collaboration.
• Ensure security, governance reviews, and scalable architectures.
