Job summary

The Chemours Company is seeking a Senior AI Applications Engineer to join our AI & Data Science team. This role reports to the Head of Data Science & AI and may be remote for the right candidate in the US.

You will be an experienced full-stack engineer with a track record of delivering GenAI solutions, collaborating with stakeholders, and leading end-to-end development from design to deployment. Eastern time availability is required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
• 8+ years of advanced backend development with Python and JavaScript.
• 2+ years designing, coding (Python) and deploying GenAI solutions in production.
• Minimum 2 years UI/frontend development with React.js, Typescript, and HTML.
• Strong GenAI architectures knowledge including embeddings, RAG, vector/search tech; ability to articulate solutions.

Responsibilities

• Identify and integrate GenAI solutions into business workflows.
• Design, architect, and productionize traditional apps and GenAI agents.
• Scope use cases with stakeholders, define success criteria, deliver UX.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives across multiple business functions.
