Job summary

GE Aerospace seeks an IT Engineer to deliver scalable, compliant software using Claude Code and agentic workflows. You’ll assess legacy systems, prototype MVPs, and guide cross-functional teams in translating needs into AI-driven designs.

You will architect interfaces, robust APIs, and cloud-native solutions while ensuring security guardrails and timely delivery in a fast-paced enterprise environment.

Qualifications

• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
• Experience designing and building enterprise software with AI tooling.
• Familiarity with cloud-native deployments and secure coding practices.

Responsibilities

• Architect and design sound, supportable software using Claude Code and agentic workflows.
• Evaluate legacy systems to determine capabilities for high-performance replacements.
• Code complex applications with direct guidance and pair-programming activity.
• Provide maintenance and continuous improvement of AI-generated codebases and pipelines.
• Triage and debug performance, data handling, and security issues in AI code.
