Job summary

Everforth Apex Systems is seeking a Cloud Engineer with a software-development background to design, deploy and maintain cloud environments and managed services. You will work with Java/Python code, configure and monitor cloud applications, and leverage observability tools like Dynatrace and Splunk.

Preferred candidates have Ford experience and a strong understanding of cloud platforms, security, and cost optimization. The role emphasizes automation, Terraform, and Kubernetes management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 4+ years IT experience, 3+ years in development.
• 3+ years of experience with Java and Python.
• Prior automotive experience preferred; automotive development processes understood.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy and optimize cloud environments and platforms aligned with enterprise architecture and security requirements.
• Collaborate with architects, security teams, and product teams to deliver scalable cloud infrastructure.
• Monitor usage and scale IT resources to meet demand and ensure high availability.
• Develop automation scripts and IaC templates for configuring resources including IAM, VPC, gateways, SSL, and Kubernetes clusters.
