Job summary

DT Midstream, Inc. is seeking a Senior Mechanic to maintain and service natural gas compression equipment at our Petersburg, IN facility. You will perform complex mechanical repairs, lead maintenance activities, and coordinate with operations to ensure continuity of service.

The role requires strong safety focus, six years of maintenance experience, and the ability to respond to emergencies outside normal hours. On-site work with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum six years of maintenance experience.
• A high school diploma or GED.
• Experience in the mechanical field related to repairs from minor to major rebuilds.
• Respond to emergency situations outside normal hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Possess and maintain a valid driver's license.
• Strong safety experience and ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Maintains natural gas compression equipment.
• Participates in safety activities to meet goals.
• Interacts with internal and external stakeholders.
• Leads major maintenance activities and projects.
• Schedules PM and ensures parts are available.
• Recommends compressor configurations for optimization.
• Supports Engineering and Project management designs.
• Drives continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
