Job summary

DT Midstream, Inc. is seeking a Senior Mechanic to maintain and service natural gas compression equipment at our Petersburg, IN facility. You will perform complex mechanical repairs, lead maintenance activities, and coordinate with operations to ensure continuity of service.

The role requires strong safety focus, six years of maintenance experience, and the ability to respond to emergencies outside normal hours. On-site work with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum six years of maintenance experience.
• A high school diploma or GED.
• Experience in the mechanical field related to repairs from minor to major rebuilds.
• Respond to emergency situations outside normal hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Possess and maintain a valid driver's license.

Senior Mechanic - Petersburg, IN

Job Summary

Performs all maintenance functions necessary to maintainandserviceNatural Gas Compression Equipment using standard and specialized tools and equipment including mobile equipment as required. Operates equipment in conjunction with repairs and provides assistance in operating functions as necessary to maintain continuity of operations. May work alone, with minimal supervision or with other technicians and coordinates and works in conjunction with operating team members in the performance of maintenance tasks. Add On-Call rotation is required and travel may be required.

Key Accountabilities

• Maintains various types of Natural Gas Compression Equiment
• Responsible for participating in safety activities to meet or exceed organizational goals and expectations
• Maintains interpersonal relationships with individuals both external and internal to the organization
• Be an active participant of developing and maintaining a culture of professionalism
• Responsible for following all rules, policies, or expectations
• Performs all other related duties as assigned

Minimum Education & Experience Requirements

• At least six years of maintenance experience
• A high school diploma or GED
• Must have experience in the mechanical field relating to minor repairs all the way to total major rebuilds on systems and related equipment.
• Must be available to respond to emergency situations outside of normal business hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as business needs require
• Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license
