Job summary

Archrock is seeking a field-based technician to maintain and repair gas compression and related equipment at customer sites. The role requires performing call-outs, major maintenance, overhauls, and MOB/DEMOB as part of a team, while ensuring accurate documentation and a safe work environment.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of experience with natural gas engines, strong diagnostic and repair skills, and the ability to work independently on multiple compressor configurations.

Qualifications

• Typically at least 3 years of experience with natural gas engines and compressors.
• Ability to diagnose mechanical problems across compressor configurations.
• Capable of performing preventive maintenance with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a safe and well-organized work environment.
• Performs most Call Outs (CO) without assistance from a technical expert. Diagnoses and repairs mechanical problems on multiple compressor configurations.
• Performs Major Maintenance (MM), Overhauls and MOB/DEMOB as part of a team.
• Completes and submits required documentation in an accurate and timely manner.
