Ladders is seeking a Senior Gameplay Programmer, Game Prototypes to join a leader in the Hospitality & Recreation space. Leverage your expertise to build and refine gameplay systems from prototype to polished implementation across diverse concepts.

You will translate creative ideas into playable features, optimize performance for cloud-based experiences, and collaborate with design, art, and production to deliver cohesive gameplay.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience as a Gameplay Programmer/Engineer focused on player experience.
• Proficient in C++ and Unreal Engine 5 Blueprint implementation.
• Ability to prototype and ship multiple game titles under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to diverse game projects, adapting engineering approaches to fit genre and platform.
• Own and develop complex gameplay features from prototype to polished implementation.
• Translate design concepts into playable systems using Unreal Engine 5 and various tools.
• Profile, optimize, and debug code and content for performance on cloud streaming platforms.
• Collaborate with designers, artists, and producers to ensure cohesive feature integration.
