Job summary

Dreamhaven is seeking a Senior UI/UX Designer for Secret Door to shape player interfaces and experiences across PC and mobile, with in-engine implementation and collaboration with engineers to deliver polished UI assets.

You will design wireframes, flows, and prototypes, create cohesive interface art, and contribute to UI/UX across the development cycle as Dreamhaven prepares Shadowstone for Early Access in late 2026.

Qualifications

• Professional experience designing UI and player experiences for video games.
• Strong UX design skills paired with the ability to create polished UI art.
• Experience implementing UI in a game engine, ideally Unity, and collaborating with Engineers to deliver functional, polished interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Design intuitive player experiences by creating wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and interaction designs.
• Develop visually polished interface elements and establish a cohesive visual language for game UI, from components to screens.
• Implement UI and UX designs directly in‑engine, ensuring interfaces function as intended and meet quality expectations.
• Develop and adapt interface experiences for PC and mobile, with consideration for consoles where applicable.
• Evaluate gameplay and interface experiences, identify opportunities for improvement, and refine solutions through prototyping and testing.
• Define UI/UX principles, workflows, and processes that guide design decisions for the team.
