Job summary

Baker Tilly Advisory Group, LP invites an experienced accounting professional to lead U.S. GAAP compilations, attest services and related projects in a client-focused environment.

You will ensure quality deliverables and timely communication with stakeholders. Requirements include a Bachelor's in Accounting, at least five years of attest experience, CPA preferred, and strong skills in communication, leadership, and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required or equivalent with professional accounting exposure.
• Minimum five (5) years of experience providing attest services in a professional services firm.
• Knowledge of U.S. GAAP, GAAS, and PCAOB Auditing Standards.
• Demonstrated communication, public speaking, client service and relationship-building skills.
• Initiative, adaptability and proficiency with Microsoft Office are essential.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day activities of U.S. GAAP compilations and reporting, agreed-upon procedures, and special projects.
• Identify accounting, financial statement, and reporting issues per professional guidelines.
• Provide recommendations for business and process improvements based on client operations and objectives.
• Proactively build relationships and communicate effectively with clients to deliver superior service.
• Supervise and lead staff through coaching and performance evaluation on engagements.
• Invest in professional development through training and networking events.
• Assist with campus recruiting and employee referrals.
• Demonstrate high ethical standards and teamwork; travel is limited.
