Job summary

Green Key Resources is seeking a Senior Funding Specialist to support day-to-day funding and account servicing for the bank's credit card portfolio. You will execute funding transactions, perform reconciliations, investigate discrepancies, and ensure timely processing while guiding funding procedures.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in banking, financial services, card operations, or related operations.
• Experience with account reconciliations and transaction processing.
• Working knowledge of basic accounting principles.
• Detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Execute and monitor security deposit transactions and other funding-related activities.
• Manage debit card payment chargebacks, adjustments, and related account updates.
• Review and process credit line increase requests, including necessary account maintenance.
• Perform daily settlement and funding activities, ensuring transactions are completed accurately and within established deadlines.
• Investigate payment discrepancies, funding exceptions, and account-level issues, coordinating resolution as needed.
• Communicate with third-party vendors to support funding operations and address transaction-related concerns.
• Complete routine operational reconciliations and work with the Accounting team to research and resolve outstanding balances or variances.
• Oversee uncashed check and escheatment activities, including customer outreach, recordkeeping, and required documentation.
• Review operational reports to identify irregularities, research potential issues, and elevate matters when appropriate.
• Act as a knowledgeable resource for funding processes, systems, and departmental procedures.
• Develop, maintain, and update process documentation to support consistency and operational accuracy.
• Assist with special projects and perform other related duties as assigned.
