Job summary

Korn Ferry is partnering with a global financial services client in Austin, TX seeking a Fund Operations Specialist / Associate Manager focused on commercial real estate. The role requires hands-on operations experience, coordinating complex workflows, and serving as a liaison across portfolio management, operations, legal, compliance, accounting, tax, and third-party service providers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 3–5 years in fund operations.
• 1–2 years CRE experience.
• Experience with closings, drawdowns and servicing.
• Ability to interpret indenture requirements.
• Proficiency in Excel, SQL, and Bloomberg.

Responsibilities

• Support daily fund operations for CRE investments.
• Coordinate drawdowns, loan activity and holdbacks.
• Assist deal closings and setups, including wire processing.
• Liaise among portfolio managers, operations, legal, compliance, accounting, tax.
• Oversee reconciliations of assets, positions, and cash.
• Review trustee reporting and due diligence for CRE products.
