Atlas Search is seeking a Senior Analyst to join the finance and fund operations team in Houston. You’ll support the firm’s investment funds, from quarterly close to investor reporting, with visibility in a lean team and room to grow.

Required is a strong accounting foundation, 2–5 years in fund-focused accounting, U.S. GAAP, and advanced Excel. CPA progress is welcomed as you collaborate with fund administrators and auditors.

Qualifikationen

• 2–5 years of fund-focused accounting experience in public accounting serving investment fund clients, in-house at an investment manager, or a combination of the two.
• Solid grasp of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting.
• CPA, or active progress toward the CPA with exam sections passed.
• Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical ability.
• Clear communication and strong organizational skills.

Aufgaben

• Support the quarterly and annual close for the firm’s investment funds and related entities
• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules
• Help prepare and review quarterly and annual financial statements under U.S. GAAP
• Coordinate with fund administrators, auditors, tax providers, and other third-party service providers
• Support capital calls, distributions, investor allocations, and fund cash management
• Help with management fee calculations, expense allocations, and waterfall reporting
• Review investment transactions, financing activity, and portfolio-level reporting support
• Support operational workflows tied to fund activity, treasury, and investor reporting
• Contribute to process improvement projects across finance and fund operations
• Work with the investment, compliance, treasury, and operations teams on ad hoc analyses and firm initiatives

Our client, a private infrastructure investment firm, is hiring a Senior Analyst to join the finance and fund operations team in its Houston office. The role covers the firm’s investment funds and related entities, from quarterly close and financial reporting to capital activity, fee calculations, and investor reporting. It suits someone with a strong accounting foundation who wants hands‑on work across both fund accounting and investment operations, real visibility in a lean team, and room to grow with the platform. The hiring manager came up through Big 4 audit and puts real effort into mentoring and developing her team.

Compensation: $100,000 to $140,000

Location: Houston, TX (4 days/week onsite)

What You’ll Do

• Support the quarterly and annual close for the firm’s investment funds and related entities

What We’re Looking For
