Job summary

Oliver James is seeking a Fund Controller to join a leading fund administration client focusing on technology, blockchain, Web3 and digital assets. The role oversees fund accounting, financial reporting and client relationships, with responsibility for capital calls, distributions, carried interest and IRRs in a fully remote setup.

You will work with LPAs, fund allocations and waterfalls, manage digital asset transactions and coordinate with auditors and tax advisers.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of closed-end fund accounting or administration experience.
• Venture Capital experience is required, with crypto or digital asset exposure strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of LPAs, fund allocations, carried interest and waterfalls.
• Experience with digital asset transactions, wallets, exchanges or custodians is advantageous.
• Strong client management, communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead fund accounting, financial reporting and client relationships.
• Oversee capital calls, distributions, allocations, carried interest, waterfalls and IRRs.
• Account for equity investments, tokens, SAFTs, warrants and SPVs.
• Coordinate with auditors, tax advisers, legal counsel and digital asset custodians.
• Support new fund launches and provide technical oversight to the fund accounting team.
