Job summary

Selby Jennings seeks a Senior Fund Accountant to join its growing investment platform. The role focuses on overseeing NAV processes, investor reporting, and financial controls across multi‑currency funds and hedge strategies.

You will collaborate with treasury, operations, legal, and external auditors, review monthly and quarterly NAV packages, and support year‑end financial statements. A CPA is preferred and 4–7 years in asset management or hedge funds is expected.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years of hedge fund, fund administration, asset management, or Big Four experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA preferred.
• Strong experience with fund accounting, NAV prep & review, and investor allocations.
• Experience with multi-currency environments and alternative investment structures.

Responsibilities

• Review and validate monthly and quarterly NAV packages prepared by third-party fund administrators, investigating and resolving discrepancies
• Prepare investor reporting, management reporting, performance calculations, and ad hoc analyses for internal stakeholders
• Support the preparation of annual audited financial statements and act as a key point of contact for external auditors
• Review journal entries, accruals, expense allocations, management and performance fee calculations, capital activity and investor allocations

The firm manages sophisticated investment strategies across multiple asset classes and operates in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment. The role offers broad exposure to derivatives, digital assets, multi-currency funds, and alternative investment strategies, while partnering closely with Treasury, Operations, Business Management, Legal, Investor Relations, and investment teams. The ideal candidate will have strong experience overseeing fund accounting, NAV, review, investor reporting, and financial reporting across a portfolio of alternative investment vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:
