Job summary

IQ-EQ in Dallas seeks an experienced finance professional to support private equity funds and hedge fund clients. You will manage journal entries, investor allocations, capital calls, fees, and waterfall models, coordinating with auditors while mentoring junior staff.

The role offers a hybrid work schedule, comprehensive benefits, and a salary of $100,000 to $135,000 depending on experience and location.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive experience in private equity or related accounting roles.
• Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
• Strong accounting and reporting for alternative investment funds.
• Proficient with journal entries, investor allocations, and waterfall models.
• Excellent client service and ability to meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Support client leads across multiple Private Equity funds ensuring deliverables align with agreements.
• Manage and review journal entries, investor allocations, capital calls/distributions, fees and carried interest.
• Oversee preparation and delivery of financial statements, disclosures, and investor notices; coordinate with auditors.
• Assess and enhance operational processes and handle client requests.
• Train and mentor junior teammates to maintain accuracy and timeliness.
