Job summary

LeoForce, based in New York, is seeking a Fund Accounting Manager to oversee complex private equity fund operations and lead a professional accounting team. You will manage accounting activities, oversee fund reporting, and coordinate with clients and stakeholders to ensure rigorous control and compliance.

The role requires senior-level fund accounting experience, strong leadership, and a commitment to delivering exceptional client service within a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Senior-level experience in fund accounting and private equity operations.
• Proven leadership and team development capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Partner closely with Directors and Managing Directors to oversee daily fund operations.
• Independently manage accounting and operational activities for private equity funds.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for clients with limited oversight.
• Analyze LPAs and governing documents to summarize key economics and fund structures.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting team members.
• Oversee preparation and review of capital calls, distributions, financial statements, waterfalls, IRR calculations, and related deliverables.
• Review and approve fund deliverables prior to senior leadership review.
• Perform complex analyses of financial reporting, capital events, and private equity transactions.
• Support onboarding and setup of new client fund structures.
• Drive process improvements and operational efficiency initiatives.
• Ensure delivery of high-quality client service and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders on fund reporting matters.
