LHH is seeking an experienced fund accounting professional in Maryland to manage monthly and quarterly closes for multiple investment entities. You will prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and investor reporting while ensuring accuracy under U.S. GAAP.

Candidates should have 3–6+ years of fund accounting experience, familiarity with investment platforms, and the ability to work independently with multiple deadlines. LHH offers competitive benefits and a collaborative team environment.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 3–6+ years of accounting experience in private equity, real estate, or investment accounting.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and partnership accounting.
• Experience with capital calls, distributions and investor allocations.
• CPA or CPA progress is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Manage monthly and quarterly close processes for funds and related entities.
• Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, trial balances, and schedules.
• Maintain fund-level ledgers and record investment activity accurately.
• Calculate and record capital calls, distributions, and management fees.
• Prepare financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
• Support investor reporting and audits, coordinating with external partners.
• Assist with treasury, cash reconciliations, and NAV review.
• Provide guidance to junior staff and participate in process improvements.
