Senior Recruitment Consultant - Financial Operations - Finance & Accounting

Selby Jennings is currently partnered with a consulting firm based in Virginia that is expanding their fund accounting teams within their commodity and hedge fund entities.

Due to organization growth and the implementation of new investment strategies, they are looking to bring on a Senior Fund Accountant to work directly with the CFO and other leadership.

Responsibilities

• Trade/position/cash reconciliations
• Working with the investment team and external partners on trade booking & settlement
• Audit & financial statement prep
• Supporting the team on month-end/year-end closes

Preferred Qualifications

• 2-4 years of relevant experience within an audit firm, fund admin, or buy-side firm
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel
• Knowledge of fixed income, derivatives, and other relevant types of investments
