Responsibilities

1. Manage tight timelines for fund closing whilst providing top-notch client service.
2. Grow the efficiency of existing organizational processes and procedures to enhance and sustain the organization’s internal capacity.
3. Maintain excellent communication skills and a strong desire to build lasting relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
4. Quickly adapt and execute effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Requirements

1. A bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance is required.
2. 5+ years of fund accounting experience.
3. Experience interpreting Fund Operating Agreements and applying those terms in accounting.
4. Proven experience creating, populating, and distributing Financial Statements and Members' Capital Account Statements.
5. Experience in Capital Calls and Distributions management.
6. Investran experience is beneficial.
7. Deep understanding of treasury operations.
8. Knowledge of various fund legal structures is a plus.

About the role

As part of Equitybee’s operations department, you will:

Strategic support and problems you will solve

• Capital calls and distributions
• Investor notices creation and communication
• Daily journaling for accurate books and records
• Income and expense allocation to partner capital accounts
• Ad-hoc stakeholder reporting
• Preparation of annual financial statements
• Coordination of fund audits
• Scaling fund operations and onboarding new funds
• Engagement in cross-functional activities beyond fund administration
• Custodial & brokerage account setup, KYC/AML, and Beneficial Ownership processes
• Facilitate SEC Form D and Blue Sky filings
• Support middle office functions, including deal diligence and fund administration
