Syms Strategic Group, LLC is seeking a Senior Functional Analyst for a fully remote role. The incumbent will lead requirement capture for software teams, document functional needs, and drive Agile processes within SAFe frameworks.

Collaboration with business users, IT, and leadership is essential to ensure clear, testable requirements and successful sprint outcomes. Ideal candidates bring extensive Agile experience, strong communication skills, and a proven ability to coordinate across teams

Qualifications

Must possess a strong background in software development and SAFe methodologies.
Excellent oral and written communication skills to explain complex topics to diverse audiences.
Attention to detail, customer service, and strong problem-solving abilities.
Experience conducting independent research to support resolution of complex questions.
Advanced experience with MS Office, including Excel.
Expertise with JIRA tools and large Agile projects.

Responsibilities

Lead capture of business requirements for software development teams.
Document requirements in an ALM tool with IT and leadership.
Manage requirements in an ALM tool and perform Agile requirement management.
Conduct user interviews, develop business process models, and specify requirements.
Collaborate with customers and stakeholders to document technical requirements.
Perform backlog refinement and acceptance criteria definition.
Utilize JIRA for requirements, testing, and defect management.
