Job summary

Syms Strategic Group, LLC is seeking a Senior Functional Analyst to lead requirements gathering for software development in a federal context. This is a fully remote, U.S.-based role with VA department alignment.

Qualifications

Strong background in software development and SAFe/Scaled Agile.
Excellent oral and written communication to customer, management, and non-technical audiences.
Attention to detail, customer service skills, and problem-solving abilities.
Advanced experience with Microsoft Office, including Excel.
Experience in large, Agile software development or data integration projects.

Responsibilities

Lead the capture of business requirements for software development teams.
Document requirements in an ALM tool and manage them in the backlog.
Perform Agile requirement management for product teams.
Conduct user interviews and develop business process models and formal specifications.
Coordinate with stakeholders and Systems Engineers on technical impact.
Develop and maintain project/backlog plans and change control.
