Job summary

Innova Solutions is hiring a Senior Java Full Stack Developer for a client project in Charlotte, NC. This is a 12-month, hybrid on-site role (3 days per week on location) with a W2 contract structure.

You will drive enterprise modernization efforts, define architecture, microservices, REST APIs, and optimize performance while collaborating with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Java enterprise application development.
• Experience building modern full-stack applications using React 18 and Java.
• Proven experience leading large-scale application modernization and digital transformation initiatives.
• Strong expertise in microservices architecture, RESTful API development, SQL Server, performance tuning, and scalable application design.
• Hands-on experience with Python and the ability to contribute across the full application stack.
• Experience with cloud-native technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Azure, GCP) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Working knowledge of Kafka or other event-driven messaging frameworks.
• Experience leveraging AI-assisted development tools to improve engineering productivity.

Responsibilities

A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a Senior Java Full Stack Developer.

Position type: Full-time, Contract (W2) Duration: 12 Months Contract (Extension Possible) Location: Charlotte, NC - 3 days Hybrid on-site role

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Define technical architecture and roadmap for enterprise application modernization initiatives.
• Drive microservices design, REST API development, database strategy, and application performance optimization.

Ideal Candidate Will Have

• Strong expertise in microservices architecture, RESTful API development, SQL Server, performance tuning, and scalable application design.

• Experience with cloud-native technologies including Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Azure, or GCP, along with CI/CD pipeline implementation.
• Working knowledge of Kafka or other event-driven messaging frameworks.
• Experience leveraging AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude, or similar technologies to improve engineering productivity.
• Strong leadership skills with experience mentoring engineers, conducting code reviews, defining technical standards, and driving engineering best practices.
• Ability to collaborate with architects, product owners, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.
• Prior experience within financial services, banking, governance, risk, or compliance domains is highly preferred.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment, with availability to be onsite in Charlotte, NC three days per week.

Pay Range*: $50- $55 per hour
