Job summary

Innova Solutions is seeking a Software Engineer in Melbourne, FL to design, develop, and deploy full-stack applications. You will work across front-end and back-end teams, deploying in AWS, and supporting DevSecOps practices while collaborating with mission stakeholders to deliver end-to-end solutions.

The role requires a TS/SCI CI poly clearance, 4+ years of related experience with a degree, or equivalent experience. This is a full-time contract position based in Melbourne, FL with the client.

• Master's Degree with 2+ years of relevant experience; OR
• 8+ years of related experience in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain full-stack software applications.
• Build modern, responsive front-end applications utilizing current web technologies and frameworks.
• Develop secure and scalable back-end services, APIs, and application logic.
• Deploy and maintain applications within AWS cloud environments.
• Integrate cloud-native services, databases, and distributed application components.
• Support CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, code reviews, and DevSecOps practices.
• Collaborate with engineers, cybersecurity teams, and mission stakeholders to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Interact directly with customers to gather requirements and refine application functionality.
• Create technical documentation, system designs, roadmaps, and implementation plans.
• Deliver technical presentations and briefings to stakeholders.
• Support evolving mission priorities in a dynamic operational environment.

Software Engineer

A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a Software Engineer.

Position Type: Full-Time, Contract

Duration: 12+ months

Location: Melbourne Florida 32919

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain full-stack software applications.
• Build modern, responsive front-end applications utilizing current web technologies and frameworks.
• Develop secure and scalable back-end services, APIs, and application logic.

Required Qualifications

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree with 4+ years of relevant experience; OR
• Master's Degree with 2+ years of relevant experience; OR
• 8+ years of related experience in lieu of a degree.

• Experience modernizing and migrating analytics applications into high-performance web applications.
• This Position needs Active TS/SCI CI Poly Security Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting classified DoD mission environments.
• Experience transitioning prototype or research capabilities into operational software solutions.
• Experience deploying mission applications in high-security or classified environments.
• Familiarity with C2S Access Portal (CAP) and high-side AWS environments.
• Experience with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, DynamoDB, or similar.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized environments.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and DevSecOps methodologies.
• Experience developing AI/ML-enabled mission applications and data-driven analytical tools.
• Background working with sensor-derived, geophysical, seismic, acoustic, infrasonic, or other technical mission data.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS

Pay Range*: $65-$68 per hour

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
