Job description

A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a WebAPI Developer.Position Type: Full-Time, Contract Duration: 6+ months Location: Saint Louis Missouri 63131

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement robust web applications and API services.
• Develop software following established architecture standards, patterns, and best practices.
• Collaborate with development teams throughout all phases of the software development lifecycle.
• Participate in code reviews and peer review activities to ensure code quality and maintainability.
• Troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance application performance.
• Mentor and support junior developers within the team.
• Stay current with emerging technologies, tools, and industry best practices.

Required Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Framework, and Spring MVC.
• Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles.
• Experience with unit testing frameworks and continuous integration tools.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Spring Boot.
• Solid understanding of RESTful API design and development.
• Experience using Git version control.
• Hands-on experience with Java 8/11.
• Experience with Maven for build and dependency management.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and cloud-native development practices.
• Experience working with MongoDB or other NoSQL databases.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS

Pay Range*: $55-$60 per hour *Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
