Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 10+ years of full-lifecycle development with 3+ years in listed technologies on AWS.
• Experience architecting solutions and decomposing into modules.
• 5+ years applying Agile, DevSecOps, and test-driven development.
• Jira and CI/CD pipelines experience for CI, tests, and deployment.
• Cloud-native development on AWS including Lambda, S3, Dynamo, RDS, Redshift.
• Strong JS skills (React, Node) and API development (GraphQL/REST).
• Experience with MySQL and NoSQL databases.
• Knowledge of AI models, agentic development and RAG concepts; use of AI tools.
• Source code management, release processes, and code review practices.
• Ability to demo products, communicate clearly, and mentor teammates.
• Eligible to obtain a U.S. government security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small team (6-8 FTEs) of full-stack developers and test automation engineers.
• Plan and execute agile development with a Business Analyst and Product Lead.
• Provide technical direction and mentor teams on delivery best practices.
• Ensure quality and performance of products; drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborate on architecture and validate proposed technical solutions.
• Utilize AI tools to enhance development productivity and efficiency.
• Monitor product performance and optimize scalability in production.
• Promote DevSecOps practices to deliver reliable software.
• Review feature feasibility, estimates, and manage risks.
• Support senior management with improvement recommendations.
