Job summary

Karsun Solutions, LLC seeks a Lead Full Stack Developer to guide a 6-8 person team of developers and test automation engineers. You will collaborate with a Business Analyst and Product Lead to plan and execute agile development.

Role combines hands-on coding with architectural design on AWS, API and data-layer work, and mentoring. Emphasis on performance, security, and continuous improvement for government-focused software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 10+ years of full-lifecycle application development experience with AWS cloud platform.
• Experience architecting solutions and decomposing them into modules for development.
• 5+ years using Agile, DevSecOps, and lean methodologies.
• Experience with Jira and CI/CD pipelines for CI, testing and deployment.
• Cloud-native development and AWS services (Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, Kinesis, RDS, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript (React.js, Node.js), API development (GraphQL/RESTful).
• Experience with AI tools to generate code for development and automation testing.
• Source control best practices and release management experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead an agile team of developers and test automation engineers and grow them into a high-performance team.
• Hands-on role across the full development lifecycle, designing, implementing and maintaining products.
• Mentor teams on best practices, templates, and code quality to produce reusable code.
• Provide technical direction and validate architectures and solutions.
• Monitor product performance in production and optimize for scale and security.
• Drive DevSecOps practices and architectural consistency across product teams.
• Evaluate requirements, identify gaps/risks, and scope development work.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders and demonstrate product demos.
