Job summary

Braven is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead end-to-end full-stack initiatives across the learning platform, data systems, and automation that scale our programs. You will own architecture, ship features, and mentor growing engineers on the Systems team, reporting to the Senior Director of Software Engineering.

This role requires strong back- and front-end skills, collaboration across technical and non-technical teams, and a commitment to Braven’s mission and student Fellows population.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field, completion of a technical training program, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of software engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and ship complex features across our platform, data pipelines, and program automation.
• Review code and architecture proposals; mentor engineers to grow.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams; stay current on industry trends, security, data privacy, and AI tooling.
