Job summary

Brivo is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer in Bethesda for a hybrid role, requiring on-site presence 2–3 days per week. You will architect, develop, and maintain high-availability services powering a global security platform.

You’ll work on API services with Java/SpringBoot, Node.js/TypeScript, and serverless AWS Lambda, plus React/TypeScript front-ends, and lead design reviews and ADRs in a fast-paced, collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years designing, developing, and deploying scalable software solutions.
• 5+ years serverless development with AWS Lambda and TypeScript.
• 5+ years building production apps with Java and Spring Boot.
• Proven experience with modern front-end apps using React/TypeScript.

Responsibilities

• Code ~70% of time; architect and develop scalable API services and React/TS front-ends.
• Own cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines using AWS, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tools.
• Lead design sessions, ADRs, code reviews, and maintain high engineering standards.
