Job summary

Braven, Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Engineer on the Systems team to own end-to-end platform and automation initiatives.

You will design, build, and ship complex features across learning platforms and data systems, while raising the technical bar through reviews and best practices. You will mentor engineers, collaborate with non-technical partners, and stay current on AI tooling and security trends as Braven grows our Fellows program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• Experience with Ruby on Rails, Python, React, PostgreSQL, BigQuery and Git.

Responsibilities

• Design and ship full-stack features across our platform with Python and Ruby on Rails.
• Raise the team’s technical bar via code reviews, testing, and observability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stay current on AI tooling and security.
