Job summary

Valence is building an AI-first leadership coaching platform for Fortune 500 companies. This Senior/Staff Product Engineer role blends backend API design, AI model integration, and frontend work to deliver enterprise-grade experiences end-to-end.

You’ll own features from scoping and testing to deployment and observability, collaborating across product, design, data, and infrastructure, with emphasis on scale, security, and performance.

Qualifications

• Experience shipping production-grade full-stack systems.
• Backend with Python (Django) and frontend with modern JS frameworks.
• Strong API design and scalable, secure architectures.
• Experience integrating LLMs and AI services for enterprise use.

Responsibilities

• Build and extend backend services: architect APIs and integrate LLMs.
• Develop polished frontend experiences with responsive UI.
• Own end-to-end delivery from scoping to monitoring in production.
• Collaborate across product, design, data, and infrastructure.
• Drive engineering standards, CI/CD, observability, and perf benchmarks.
• Mentor teammates and promote scalable engineering practices.
