Job summary

Valence seeks a seasoned DevOps Engineer to own and lead our AWS infrastructure for an AI-powered coaching platform serving Fortune 500 enterprises. You will design scalable infrastructure, drive security, and collaborate across three teams to enable reliable, cost-efficient deployments.

You will implement IaC with Terraform and Ansible, optimize costs, and lead CI/CD across multiple application teams while advancing our cloud architecture.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of DevOps experience in scaling B2B SaaS enterprises.
• Proven track record building infrastructure platforms for multiple development teams.
• Strong expertise with AWS services and infrastructure management.

Responsibilities

• Own and architect our entire AWS infrastructure.
• Design and implement scalable infrastructure platforms for multi-team deployments.
• Lead security infrastructure initiatives including SIEM/EDR and automated scanning.
• Manage and optimize infrastructure costs while ensuring high availability.
• Develop Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Ansible.
• Create and optimize autoscaling for varying workloads including ML pipelines.
• Establish network architecture and security protocols (firewalls, routing).
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for multiple teams.
• Collaborate with AI team to support data processing and ML pipelines.
• Take proactive ownership in identifying improvements and implementing solutions.
