Job summary

Beacon Hill Staffing Group, LLC is seeking an experienced software developer for a P&C enterprise system. You will lead development and support of a key core software system, collaborating with business stakeholders to solve tickets and advance ongoing development.

The role emphasizes strong SQL, full-stack C#/.NET, REST integrations, and production system ownership, with a focus on delivering reliable solutions and excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of SQL experience with queries and stored procedures.
• Ability to write, tune, and troubleshoot complex production queries and data modeling.
• 4+ years of full-stack development experience, preferably C#/.NET.
• Experience owning production applications across database, backend API, and frontend.
• Proficient in at least one modern back-end language/framework.
• Experience with Jira and ticketing systems.
• Experience designing and consuming REST APIs and system integrations.
• Proficiency with Git-based source control and CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins).
• Experience with AI prompts or AI coding assistants in daily development.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and support of a key core software system in a large enterprise.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to resolve tickets and drive ongoing development.
• Contribute to data migration, UAT, and post-go-live hypercare as needed.
• Interface with internal IT teams and external vendors to resolve problems.
