Job summary

Cognizant in Hartford, CT, is seeking a Senior Full Stack .NET Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise applications leveraging .NET, Angular, and AWS. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative software and drive technical excellence across the full SDLC.

This role emphasizes cloud-native development, code reviews, and continuous improvement while balancing delivery and quality. Hybrid work with three days onsite in Hartford, CT.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of professional software development experience.
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience developing applications using .NET and Angular.
• Strong understanding of software design principles, object-oriented programming, and design patterns.
• Experience building and deploying applications on AWS Cloud platforms.
• Experience with Python development and scripting.
• Strong understanding of SDLC methodologies, software development best practices, and application lifecycle management.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.

Responsibilities

About the role

As a Senior Full Stack .NET Developer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable enterprise applications using .NET, Angular, and AWS cloud technologies. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions, drive technical excellence, and contribute to the full software development lifecycle from design through deployment and support.

In this role, you will:

• Design, develop, and maintain web-based applications using .NET and Angular technologies.
• Build and deploy scalable, cloud-native solutions leveraging AWS services and best practices.
• Manage and support all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $68,442 to $131,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
