Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Senior Full Stack Java Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and React.js. You will build REST APIs, work with relational databases, and participate in CI/CD and cloud deployments on AWS/Azure/GCP.

Hybrid work with 3 days in Mountain View. The role requires strong collaboration with cross-functional teams and a minimum of 10 years in Java-based development, with expertise in frontend and backend

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Java-based enterprise application development.
• Hands-on experience with React.js and modern frontend technologies.
• Proven ability to design RESTful APIs and integrate front-end with back-end services.
• Strong knowledge of OOP, design patterns, and software engineering principles.
• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle).
• Proficient with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Full Stack Java Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and React.js, with experience building modern cloud-native applications. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions that align with business objectives.

In this role, you will:

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture.
• Build responsive and interactive user interfaces using React.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Design, develop, and consume RESTful APIs while integrating front-end applications with backend services.
• Develop and optimize database structures, queries, and integrations using PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle.

What you need to have to be considered

• Minimum 10+ years of experience in Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices-based application development.
• Hands-on experience with React.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Proven experience designing and consuming REST APIs and integrating front-end applications with backend services.
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), design patterns, and software engineering principles.
• Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle.
• Proficiency with Git, version control practices, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $63,000 to $ 99,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
