Job summary

Empat is staffing engineers for a US consultancy partner delivering an AI development program for a large enterprise client. This isn’t a greenfield project— you’d join mid-flight across a full stack (React/TypeScript + Python/FastAPI) alongside the client’s architects to shape evolving requirements.

If you want ownership over features end-to-end rather than a ticket queue, this is that kind of role. It’s fully remote, with access provisioning taking a few weeks; please share your hourly rate

Qualifications

• Strong commercial experience with React + TypeScript (front end).
• Strong commercial experience with Python + FastAPI (back end).
• Genuine full-stack capability— you’re comfortable owning a feature end to end.
• Located in the United States.
• Available to start in October and commit through the end of the year.
• Comfortable working in an environment where the spec is evolving.

Responsibilities

• Work across the full stack— both front end and back end, not one or the other.
• Pick up and extend an existing codebase.
• Work directly with the client’s solution and business architects, alongside the partner’s development and architecture team.
• Contribute to a product where requirements are still being defined— you’ll be part of shaping them, not just implementing tickets.
