Checkr Trust is hiring a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to help design, build, and launch high-impact products. You will own end-to-end development from ideation to delivery, partnering with customers and engineers to ship features that improve risk signals across verticals.

You’ll work in a fast-paced startup-like team within Checkr, comfortable balancing speed and quality while leveraging AI tools and modern tech.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Computer Science or an engineering discipline.
• 5+ years of full stack software development experience.
• Advanced knowledge in Ruby on Rails and JavaScript with React.
• Comfortable working with AI tools day-to-day and building AI-powered workflows.
• Ambition to ship quickly in an early-stage environment with strong ownership.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with customers, engineers, and leaders to design, build, and launch new products.
• Own end-to-end development from idea shaping to delivering the finished application.
• Apply a customer-centric, product-first mindset across success, customers, and stakeholders.
• Ensure code reliability with solid testing, reviews, and best practices.
• Run experiments and use insights to guide future development.
• Build scalable APIs and event-driven architecture and integrate with third-party services.
