Job summary

DigiCert is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to build and run the platform behind our certificate management, TLS, and vulnerability monitoring products. You will work in a TypeScript monorepo, with Fastify/Express APIs, Next.js frontends, and a Kubernetes-deployed stack on AWS, Azure DevOps pipelines, and Terraform-driven infrastructure.

You will own features end to end—from schema and API to UI, data stores, and production monitoring.

Qualifications

• 6+ years building and operating production web services and frontends.
• Strong TypeScript and Node.js with modern API frameworks and React.
• Experience across multiple languages/ecosystems; not focused on a single stack.
• Relational DB experience with MySQL or Postgres; design and optimization.
• Ownership of observability, logging, metrics, and incident response.
• Security-conscious development: auth flows, secrets handling, input validation.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and ship full-stack features (APIs, UI, data models).
• Own services in production: observability, on-call participation, incident fixes.
• Develop security and monitoring tools at scale with performance budgets.
• Gradually retire legacy .NET/Python components and migrate to TS platform.
• Extend CI/CD and infrastructure (Azure DevOps, Terraform, Docker, Helm).
• Integrate third-party APIs and ensure resilience.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools and build AI-backed features.
• Review code, write tests, and raise engineering standards.
