Job summary

DigiCert is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to evolve the DigiCert One platform, focusing on IAM, Java backend services, and React frontends at enterprise scale.

You will own end-to-end design, implement secure token flows (OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML), mentor engineers, and partner with product and security teams to deliver scalable, reliable identity capabilities across DigiCert's product portfolio.

Qualifications

• The candidate has 5+ years in software engineering in platform/identity domains.
• Deep Java and React experience with production IAM knowledge.
• Experience building enterprise-grade distributed systems at scale.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop Java backend services and REST APIs.
• Own full-stack features spanning Java and React from requirements to production.
• Architect and implement IAM flows: OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML with enterprise providers.
• Champion secure-by-design architecture, threat modeling, RBAC/ABAC.
• Drive CI/CD maturity and deployment strategies.
• Operate infrastructure with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform/Helm.
• Apply AI coding agents in daily workflow and promote AI-first practices.
• Integrate AI/LLM capabilities into platform features.
• Mentor junior engineers and lead code reviews.
• Own observability and incident response with monitoring tools.
• Collaborate with Product and Design to deliver value on time.
