Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, CS, or related field or equivalent work experience.
• 3+ years of software development experience.
• Experience with Java or similar language; Python a plus.
• Strong frontend knowledge (React/Angular/Vue) and full-stack concepts.
• Basics of databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Experience with Unix/Linux environments and RESTful APIs.

What you will do

• Work within an Agile (Scrum/Kanban) team to develop services and applications.
• Write, debug, and maintain code under the guidance of senior team members (primarily in Java, with exposure to Python or other languages).
• Collaborate with teammates to design, develop, and test software solutions.
• Assist in the development and optimization of database schemas and queries for applications.
• Learn and utilize tools for automation, such as Jenkins, Gradle, JUnit, and Terraform.
• Participate in code reviews to improve skills and learn best practices.
• Monitor and troubleshoot software performance issues with team support.
• Stay updated with new technologies and share insights with your team.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Write efficient and maintainable code, adhering to best practices.
• Design, query, and optimize database solutions to ensure scalability and performance.
• Debug and resolve coding, design, and database-related issues under guidance from senior engineers.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver quality solutions.
• Update and maintain existing software and database solutions as necessary.

Qualifications/Education Requirement

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• 3+ years of experience in software development.
• Experience with Java or a similar programming language (Python is a plus).
• Strong understanding of frontend technologies (React/Angular/Vue) and full-stack development concepts.
• Basic understanding of databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Exposure to Unix/Linux environments.
• Eager to learn about RESTful APIs, microservices, and cloud environments.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to ask questions and seek help.
