Job summary

DigiCert, a global leader in intelligent trust, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to build and run the platform behind our certificate management, TLS, and vulnerability monitoring products. The role centers on a TypeScript monorepo with Fastify/Express, Next.js, React, MySQL, Redis, AWS, Terraform, Helm, and Azure DevOps pipelines.

You will own features end-to-end from API to UI, contribute to security tooling, retire legacy .NET and Python, and mentor teammates.

Qualifications

• 6+ years building and operating production web services and frontends.
• Strong TypeScript and Node.js experience.
• Experience with Fastify/Express and React (Next.js).
• Relational DB skills in MySQL or Postgres.
• Security-focused with logging, metrics, and incident response.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and ship features across the full stack: APIs, frontends, DB schemas, and queues.
• Own services in production: observability, on-call, incident root-causation, and fixes.
• Build and evolve security and monitoring products at scale.
• Retire legacy .NET and Python components and migrate to TypeScript where possible.
• Extend CI/CD and infrastructure with Terraform, Helm, and cloud pipelines.
• Integrate third-party APIs and maintain resilient integrations.
• Use AI-assisted development tools and contribute AI-backed features.
• Review code, write tests, and set coding standards.
• Mentor engineers and document decisions for others.
