DigiCert is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to own features end to end in a TypeScript monorepo. You will work across Fastify/Express APIs, Next.js frontends, MySQL schemas, and AWS queues, with Kubernetes deployment and Terraform tooling.

You will mentor engineers, improve security, and contribute to AI-assisted tooling while retiring legacy components. A strong emphasis on production ownership, code quality, and scalable architecture guides this role.

Qualifications

• 6+ years building and operating production web services and frontends.

Responsabilités

• Design, build, and ship features across the full stack: APIs, frontends, schemas, and migrations.
• Own services in production: observability, on-call, incident root-cause analysis, and fixes.
• Build and evolve security and monitoring products at scale with performance budgets.
• Retire legacy .NET and Python components, moving behavior to TypeScript.
• Extend CI/CD and infrastructure with pipelines, containers, and Terraform for cloud services.
• Integrate third-party APIs and ensure resilient integrations.
• Use AI-assisted development tools and build AI-backed features where beneficial.
• Review code, write tests, and maintain high standards for human and AI-generated code.
• Mentor engineers and document decisions for team-wide adoption.
