Job summary

Docupace is seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Developer for a remote role based in Philadelphia, PA. Fully remote; however, candidates MUST already live within commuting distance of the Philadelphia Metropolitan Area (PA, NJ, DE) at the time of application.

The ideal candidate will master SQL with large codebases, work on server-side web platforms, and collaborate across teams to deliver the ComplianceEdge platform for financial services.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software development experience.
• SQL/T-SQL – deep knowledge of large codebases and objects.
• JavaScript with Kendo UI experience.
• Server-side web experience in a modern stack.
• Git – workflow with GitLab.
• AWS or a comparable cloud hosting provider.
• Cloud native architectures (containers, autoscaling, multi-instance).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications per specs.
• Write clean, efficient, well-documented code.
• Translate business requirements and user stories into technical solutions.
• Build and optimize database objects (stored procedures, tables, views, functions).
• Design and contribute to database architecture and data pipelines.
• Troubleshoot performance bottlenecks across frontend, API, and DB.
• Develop full-stack features in the application.
• Collaborate with architects, product team, designers, QA, and other developers.
