Job summary

CloudPSO is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to develop and support an operational platform for investment managers. You will collaborate with a Technical Lead to build features, improve reliability, and support customer deployments.

The role requires strong full-stack skills, PostgreSQL expertise, API integration, and secure development practices. This is a remote, full-time position with 40 hours per week aligned to Eastern Time.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience delivering production full-stack features independently.
• Strong backend and frontend development skills.
• Strong PostgreSQL and SQL fundamentals.
• Experience building and consuming APIs and integrating external systems.
• Experience with background processing, scheduled tasks and error handling.
• Knowledge of authentication and secure development practices.
• Experience writing automated tests and using Git and CI/CD.
• Strong debugging skills across apps, databases and integrations.
• Clear communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to take ownership of assigned work within a small delivery team.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain frontend features, backend services and APIs.
• Build and improve data-ingestion workflows involving APIs, SFTP, object storage and uploaded files.
• Implement data validation, normalization and helpful error reporting.
• Maintain scheduled jobs with attention to retries and time zones.
• Write and optimize SQL and perform database migrations.
• Preserve versioned records and audit trails.
• Implement server-side access controls and secure data handling.
• Create unit and integration tests for critical workflows.
• Investigate issues and document causes and fixes.
• Participate in code reviews, releases and technical documentation.
• Coordinate with Tech Lead and DevOps on installations and upgrades.
