True Anomaly is hiring a Full Stack Software Engineer to build end-to-end features across React/TypeScript frontend and Elixir backend for spacecraft mission control systems.

Join a team delivering autonomous spacecraft, payloads and mission software with flexible hours/location, strong compensation, and stock options. Onsite near Long Beach, CA with potential conversion from 3-month temp to permanent based on performance.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of software development experience.
• Solid knowledge of HTML/CSS and modern TS/JS.
• Familiar with React (Hooks) and functional patterns.
• Experience with Elixir or Erlang is a plus.
• Exposure to testing frameworks (Jest, Vitest, RTL, ExUnit).
• Basic understanding of gRPC, REST, WebSocket or GraphQL.
• Comfort with PostgreSQL and Git in Agile environments.
• US citizen and DoD clearance eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Build features spanning frontend to distributed backend services.
• Write testable, maintainable code across React/TS and Elixir.
• Tackle small tasks under senior engineers and learn the stack.
• Collaborate with space operators, designers, and engineers.
• Participate in design and code reviews to improve quality.
