Job summary

Harmonic is seeking Senior Full‑Stack Engineers to join one of our three teams—Discovery, Flow, and Ecosystem—to help scale a startup discovery engine. You’ll own end‑to‑end customer features and build highly observable systems on top of large data sets, balancing technical and product tradeoffs.

You should bring 5–8 years building scalable products, with a track record of shipping major releases and a strong core CS foundation.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of experience building full‑stack products at scale.
• Founding engineer or early-stage product scaling experience.
• Track record of shipping high‑quality product with major releases.
• Strong CS fundamentals and highly performant systems.
• Experience building and scaling data pipelines for large datasets.
• Ability to turn ambiguity into clarity and balance tradeoffs.
• Customer-obsessed mindset focused on user experience.
• Methodical, data‑driven, with rapid, yet measured iteration.
• Interest in venture capital and startup ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Own customer-facing features end to end, from the customer's perspective.
• Build scalable, performant, and observable systems from data pipelines to the full-stack experience.
• Ship fast, measure what happens, and iterate to learn about the product and customer.
• Work cross-functionally with Design, Product, and GTM with a customer-first mindset.
• Constantly question and explore how to improve our product experience.
