Harmonic, a startup discovery engine in New York, is seeking a senior software engineer to design and scale data infrastructure that powers how we map startups, people, and investments. You will own end-to-end data pipelines, ensure data quality, and push forward LLM-powered extraction and agentic workflows.
Work closely with backend, databases, and product teams to ship new data products that improve signal for investors and GTM teams alike. This is a high-impact role at a fast-growing company.

Harmonic is the startup discovery engine.
It pains us to see great startup opportunities consistently go unfunded not because of lack of talent, but lack of signal.
We're fixing that by mapping the entire startup landscape and building the tools that put the right companies in front of the right people at the right time. Investors, corporate development, and GTM teams use us to find breakout companies before they're obvious and turn that discovery into action. Whether that's a check, an acquisition, partnership or won business.
We're growing revenue at a rate of 100%+ annually, backed by $30M from Craft, Floodgate, and Sozo Ventures. We're committed to ensuring hundreds of billions of dollars find the right founders, so the innovations that matters most flourish. If that resonates, let's talk.
This team sits at the epicenter of everything Harmonic builds. We ingest, reconcile, and continuously improve the data that underpins how we understand startups, people, and investors: funding activity, company data, and people data, three areas the business depends on more with every new market we enter.
We're not just pipeline builders. When new data needs a home in the product, whether that's a new field in the console or an entirely new surface, this team builds it. Real ownership over both the data and the product it becomes: that's what makes this team exciting.
Compensation Range: $180K - $220K
